Warrantee
If you are not fully satisfied with your
purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for a full
refund of the item's price. All items must be returned in their original
condition and packaging. Freight costs are not refundable.
In the event of shipping damage, you must notify the carrier who delivered the
goods and Import Gifts & Ornaments immediately upon receipt. A freight claim
will need to be filed in order to recover any damages.
Import Gifts & Ornaments warrants all products to meet the specifications as
stated in the online catalog. Color and weight may vary somewhat based upon the
capabilities of the molding process. Height and dimensional appearance will be
as depicted in the online catalog.
Information About Bonded Marble
Bonded (cast) Carrara marble items are made by
mixing crushed Carrara (a marble found in Italy) with a bonding agent and
pouring into a mold. The items produced are bright white, but are generally
not as smooth as carved marble and do not have a grain. As
bonded marble ages, it will acquire a slight golden-brown hue or patina, just as
carved marble would. Additionally,
like carved marble, bonded marble can be polished to a gloss with a buffing wax
such as clear carnauba.
Items
made from bonded marble can be displayed outside year-round in any climate.
Bonded
marble can be cleaned with a brush and a solution of bleach and water.
